The wine selection process

Each wine we sell must be independently selected and endorsed by Master of Wine and International wine judge, Nick Bulleid. Every wine Nick signs off on must meet the following criteria:

True to type: Each wine must show the typical characteristics of the variety and region the wine is made from.

Well balanced: All the elements of the wine must be in harmony. We look at the acidity, alcohol, tannins and sweetness (if present).

Good length of flavour:We look for wines where the flavours persist in the mouth for a long time.

Complexity: It must have numerous characters and nuances to ensure that each time you open a bottle you will find it interesting (not simple).
