Nick Bulleid, Master of Wine and International and Australian wine judge, independently selects and endorses all the wines BackVintage sell.

Nick became the third Master of Wine in Australia, passing the examination in 1992. The Master of Wine qualification (there are only 18 MWs in Australia) is achieved through extensive examination and dissertation, and is regarded within the wine industry as one of the highest standards of professional knowledge. With a Master of Wine and highly regarded wine judge independently assisting us in selecting our wines, you can trust they are going to be well made.

Nick is also an independent wine industry consultant, providing advice on winemaking, blending, marketing and vineyard development. He also works with regional vigneron and winemaker associations on issues of quality and style, mediation and as an expert witness in several legal cases involving wine quality and value.
