2017 Revolver (bone dry) Grenache Rosé - only 40 cases...

Background
The grapes for this beautiful rosé came from a single vineyard in the cool hills at Clarendon above McLaren Vale. Once hand harvested, the grapes were destemmed, the whole berries pressed and the juice fermented cool at 12-14°C – all aimed at preserving freshness and delicacy. The wine was bottled after six months’ contact with the yeast lees to build the soft texture.

Mid pink tending to salmon

Nose
Delicate, fragrant red fruit with spices

Structure / Palate
Round and soft, with plenty of fresh flavour. Finishes soft and dry.

Grenache is arguably the best grape variety for rosé as both the Provence and Languedoc regions have demonstrated. Grenache has proved itself in Australia, too.
This fine example from Daniel Zuzolo is simply delicious now, so enjoy it over the rest of this year.
