92 points Halliday 2019 Companion. A delicate wine sourced from the southern end of the Adelaide Hills, its generous flavour, fruit and length combine to present a beautifully balanced wine. It is best enjoyed now and through 2019, drinking beautifully with flavoursome seafood.

The Chardonnay and Pinot noir parcels selected for this wine are from vineyards in Victoria’s rugged high country in the King Valley. The combination of high altitude and cool climate results in slow, even ripening of the grapes; ideal conditions for producing sparkling wines with fine flavours and high natural acidity.

100% Sangiovese handpicked from a single vineyard in Sevenhill. Aged in older French oak for 15 months. Sangiovese is the dominant grape of central Italian wines, is medium to light in body and has good fruit weight on the palate and the acidity and tannin structure to make a fantastic food wine.

New in store and a fine progression from the popular 2016 vintage. The tradition of the dry-grown Neil Grace Watervale vineyard with the finesse of the BackVintage winemaking team continues!

Light and tangy, crisp and dry, it’s perfect served cold say, with fresh prawns and oysters. Single vineyard, hand picked and 6 months on lees. Revolver wines are small batch wines made by Daniel Zuzolo who works closely with our own Mike Farmilo.

This is a well-balanced, ‘modern’ style of Chardonnay, with fresh flavours and understated oak. It will develop further flavour and complexity through at least 2019.
