BackVintage Rewards Terms and Conditions

  1. These Terms and Conditions form the basis of BackVintage Rewards.

  2. These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 25 November 2009.

  3. Every member is bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  4. BackVintage reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

  5. BackVintage reserves the right to make any changes to BackVintage Rewards redemption store vouchers and benefits offered.

  6. BackVintage will use best efforts to advise BackVintage Rewards members of material changes to these Terms and Conditions, rewards vouchers and benefits offered.

  7. BackVintage gives no warranty as to the continuing availability of BackVintage Rewards. BackVintage may terminate or suspend BackVintage Rewards at any time. BackVintage will give at least six months notice to BackVintage Rewards members of such termination or suspension, except if BackVintage ceases to conduct business as a wine retailer or ceases to operate as a business, in which case BackVintage Rewards will terminate immediately.

  8. Membership to BackVintage Rewards is open to individuals only.  Membership to BackVintage Rewards is not open to groups, companies, trusts, partnerships, other entities, government departments, agencies, animals or inanimate objects, and (for clarity) persons purchasing on behalf of a business such as retailers intending to on-sell wine to a consumer.

  9. All existing BackVintage retail customers who have previously purchased wine from BackVintage before COB 24/11/2009 will automatically be subscribed to BackVintage Rewards.

  10. Persons wishing to become members of BackVintage Rewards must subscribe to BackVintage Rewards online, over the phone or in person.

  11. Successful BackVintage Rewards membership applicants will be assigned a BackVintage customer code.

  12. Each BackVintage Rewards member must advise BackVintage of any change of name, address, email address or other details as soon as practicable after the change. These details can be updated online, via email, over the phone or in person to BackVintage staff.

  13. BackVintage Rewards members may, at any time, cancel their BackVintage Rewards membership by unsubscribing from BackVintage Rewards. In doing so they will forfeit all of their BackVintage Rewards points.

  14. BackVintage Rewards members must not:
    1. Act in any way that breaches these Terms and Conditions.
    2. Supply false or misleading information to BackVintage.
    3. Sell, assign, transfer or acquire any BackVintage Rewards redemption or BackVintage Rewards points other than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

  15. Each BackVintage Rewards member is responsible for ensuring they have sufficient points to redeem for any BackVintage Rewards redemption that they request.

  16. Each BackVintage Rewards member is responsible for regularly checking their BackVintage Rewards membership status and must notify BackVintage of any omissions, incorrect entries or other discrepancies.

  17. If a BackVintage Rewards member has committed a material breach of any of the Terms and Conditions or has failed to pay any money due to BackVintage by the due date, intentionally or otherwise, then BackVintage may suspend or terminate the BackVintage Rewards membership; refuse or cancel the BackVintage Rewards members points or refuse to honour the BackVintage Rewards members redemption.

  18. BackVintage Rewards membership will automatically terminate on the death of a BackVintage Rewards member.  Points earned that are not yet redeemed will be cancelled. BackVintage Wines not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by any person as a result of such cancellation.

  19. To earn BackVintage Rewards points BackVintage Rewards members must quote their name when purchasing products from BackVintage.  They may also be required to quote their BackVintage customer code and their email address.

  20. A BackVintage Rewards member may earn points through purchasing products from BackVintage.  BackVintage Rewards members may also earn points through special promotions conducted from time to time by BackVintage.

  21. BackVintage Rewards points will not be assigned in relation to any product purchases that are cancelled, refunded or returned.  BackVintage may cancel or deduct BackVintage Rewards points that have been awarded in relation to cancelled, refunded or returned products. BackVintage Rewards points can not be re–credited once they have expired.

  22. BackVintage Wines Australia reserves the right to cancel any BackVintage Rewards points credited incorrectly or not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

  23. BackVintage Rewards members may access their BackVintage Rewards account status online at the BackVintage Wines Australia website.

  24. BackVintage Rewards points can not be converted or exchanged for money.

  25. BackVintage Rewards points can be redeemed for BackVintage Rewards vouchers. BackVintage Rewards members will automatically be issued a BackVintage Rewards voucher when they reach the required amount of rewards points. BackVintage Rewards Vouchers will be issued in the first Friday after a member accrues enough rewards points.

  26. BackVintage Rewards Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

  27. BackVintage Rewards Vouchers can only be used towards a full 12 bottle case purchase.
